Multi-camera rig not aligning
« on: January 19, 2021, 10:38:06 AM »
Hello,

I am working on building a dense point cloud using images from a drone rig. This rig has multiple stereo pairs. The relative position and orientation of the stereo pairs with respect to the rig doesn't change. If I do not check the "Adjust location" option in the "Slave offset" tab, Metashape is able to align almost all the images. However if I do check the "Adjust location" option, almost 50% of the images are not aligned. I do know for a fact that the distance between the cameras cannot be neglected. Can someone suggest how I can move forward in this workflow? How do I align the remaining 50% "NA" (not aligned) images? I would really appreciate some pointers and tips!

Thank You!

Hello Hrishi,

Can you please send the project with the alignment results to support@agisoft.com?

Do all the cameras in the multi-camera system take the images simultaneously?
