New user perspective.
When creating a new instance of a file type, the program will over-write the current default of that type if it exists. To avoid the instance being over-written, you must first select the instance and then toggle off the default parameter.
Would it not make more sense to let the user choose by way of a preference what will happen when a new instance is generated and one (or more) already exist?
For example, I would like:
1. Over write current default
2. Generate new instance
3. Ask each time.
Thank you for your consideration!
