Problem with createDifferenceMask
« on: July 23, 2020, 12:59:35 PM »
Hello,

I want to automate the creation of mask with the color as discriminant.
So I use the script masking_by_color_dialog published on the Metashape Github

So I select my color and start the script and the results are always a mask on all the images
My images are Jpeg RGB on 3 bands

So my questions are:

Why ?
How work the function createDifferenceMask?
Do I need to transform my images?
Is there another way to create masks based on colors with a script?

Have a nice day

Hello Nietram,

Do you mean that the images are completely masked after the script run?

Which color and which tolerance options do you use? Can you provide the screenshot of the script dialog with the parameters used and the preview of any original image which gets completely masked?
