Import Shape labels Question

When you import a shapefile , I know it should show labels but when I bring one of mine and it does not show up.. I did turn it "Show shapes labels" on .

I am thinking what does Metashape reads what field name does it reads ?

I do know that it is working but I just want to know and curious...

I use ArcGIS Pro 2.6 to use the shapefile to import from there.

Maybe I am not explaining clearly....

So I am trying it again...

So when you import a shapefile into Agisoft Metashape, what is the first field name of the shapefile does Metashape reads ?

Can you please share any simple shape file that you are trying to import that doesn't have label loaded to Metashape?

Sure , I hope you can provide me the answers...

it started out from ArcGIS Pro 2.6 as a file geodatabase and then export it to shapefile...

Before that , I created and insert a Point Map Notes .. which save in the File Geodatabase.

So when I export this shapefile I had to rename it to Name something to try and see if the software reads it or not... 

It did not show labels..

What projection are you using? Think Metashape only likes WGS84

The attribute field name for the labels needs to be 'NAME', try this
