Hi,
As the title suggests, it would be nice if we could have the OpenStreetMap as a seperate layer in the ortho view, this way it would be easier to see whether something is correctly georeferenced.

I agree and it needs to have toggle on and off to see through... They should have add transparency as well.

Have you checked Show Base Map option in the latest 1.6 release version in the Ortho view that allows to display OpenStreetMaps layer?
