displacement/ height map baker

I would love to see some height map baker integrated in Metashape. The way we could import retopo model  and bake height/displacement UDIM textures instead of dealing with super hi res meshes.

Agreed. an integrated baker for the most common PBR maps would be very much welcome and save another step in post processing.

+1 ! Would be awesome !
Best case: possibility to bake displacement/normal maps from HQ mesh to lowpoly meshes (special: +including quadretopo) :) :o 8)
Would be a gamechanger for the 3d assets industry!

If this happen  I would by the professionell edition immediately !!

We've developed a standalone app just for this purpose and it does help a lot when dealing with these resolutions. Not a trivial amount of development is required though :)

Internal use only (for the time being)
