Null image
« on: September 07, 2020, 01:00:17 PM »
Hi,
I have a large dataset of 400 full frame images of a church exterior/interior. The building is a ruin and has no roof, so Metashape was able to align all 400 cameras in one go. Sparse point cloud is c.2m points. A few of the cameras didn't align initially so I removed them and aligned these only correctly. However, when running the dense cloud option it always stumbles and shows an error message of 'Null Image' in the very last phase. It can run for 24 hours and then come to compile the last section and stop. Can anyone help please?
Thanks,
Jim

Hello Jim,

Is it possible that you have accidentally created multi-frame chunk for the project? You can understand that if you have "N frames" mark next to the chunk's label in the Workspace pane.

In case there's only single frame chunk, please specify the image format used and provide the processing log related to the failed operation from the Console pane(or from the external file, if "write log to file" option has been enabled in advance).
