Possibility to create TIN model

It would be nice to have the option to create a TIN model and export it as .dxf for use in other programs.

Hi Costas,

Most modern 3d CAD programs do just fine with a mesh, simplified if needed.  The result is probably more accurate than a "traditional" TIN. May I ask which application you are needing a TIN for?

Hello Costas,

In which format you would like to save TIN model and which application you are planning to use?

Mesh export is already supported in DXF format, but if you need some different kind of output, please provide additional information.

Hello Alexey,

The program i wanted to import the .dxf into is called "Tessera" by a Greek company (Anadelta) thus it is not very common and known. I use it for Road & Railway design & construction.

Exporting 3D model as "3D faces .dxf" worked fine for my project.
