building volume and target

Hi i have to do a building drone survey to calculate volumes of a building.
i need to place target and/or coded target on facades?
i'll do either a gps ground survey of near streets.

Hi barrubba,

Your question is a little vague.  If you are actually wanting to calculate the volume of a building and you have good overlap and quality images from a drone that geotags the images, you probably do not need any ground reference to get a good reconstruction (relative accuracy) of the building volume.
