apple silicon support?

are you planning to add support for the apple m1 chip moving forward or is that something that would be quite complicated ?

Hello weirdmonkey2807,

Yes, we are planning to develop Metashape version supported by Apple M1, but there's yet no timeframe for this feature. I think it shouldn't be expected this year, in the best case scenario the official version for M1 could be released in February 2021.

the mac mini,  has only found one GPU processor, and chip m1 has eight GPU in total,
how configure metashape UNIVERSAL app on chip M1 , to use all 8 GPUs and 8 CPUs (16 total) that the m1 chip brings in total ? please ?

Hello mauovernet,

Metashape is not treating each GPU-core / GPU processor unit as a separate device. It is used as a whole.
