Two Texture Maps from Two Image Sets
« on: November 25, 2020, 06:51:46 PM »
I have some photos where every camera perspective has two images.
(a standard image and an image with reflections only)

I am using the first set of images (the standard ones) to generate the Dense Cloud + Mesh + Diffuse Map.
So far so good. But how can I use the second set of images (with reflections only) to generate another Texture Map for the same Mesh?
Keep in mind: The second set of images have been shot from the exact same camera perspectives as the first image set.

In short: The goal is to generate a Diffuse and Specular map for the mesh.

This would enable us to create photorealistic assets of objects with reflections  8)

Hello flolude,

If the naming convention and the image resolution is the same for both sets of image, you can just use Change Path command applied to all the cameras in the processed project and point to the directory with the another dataset. If you do it in the same chunk, then I recommend to duplicate the mesh model in the chunk's contents and build texture for it. Alternatively you can just duplicate the chunk, change image paths and build the texture based on the new image set.
