Merging two .psx files
« on: December 07, 2020, 03:49:16 AM »
I see that I can use FILE > APPEND to merge two .psx files.

Can that be done at almost any stage? I'm going to create the two meshes first, as this is memory intensive. Then merge the models. Then create orthophoto tiles after that.

My reason is so there are no image glitches in the overlap area of the two models.
Good idea? No problems likely?

Thanks.

Hello rossnixon,

File Menu -> Append command doesn't alter the contents of the chunks from the projects that you are "merging". This operation just adds the selected chunks from the second PSX project to the currently opened Workspace.

So this action is not related to Align Chunks or Merge Chunks operations.
