Issue with importing *.pts file.

I have an issue. When I try to import *.pts file to Metashape it loads only part of it. Cloud has square shape and about 4kk points and it loads only about 1/8 of it. It loads point cloud correctly referenced in correct place but only part of it. Why?

Do you observe any similar behavior for the smaller point clouds? And what is the size of the original PTS file?

It is 127mb and I never tried to load pts file before. But way bigger *.las files was imported without any issue.

I am trying to import it at clean, saved project. When I erase half of the file it loads same fragment. Metashape says file size is 8.27mb.

Update: I've cut down file to 100 points. After import, dense cloud shows 648k points.

Can you please share the original PTS file via file transfer service to support@agisoft.com, so that we can try to reproduce the problem on our side?
Also please specify the coordinate system used for import.

Thank you for sending the sample file.

It appears that the file is not correctly written in PTS format - the first line should contain the number of points in file, whereas in your file it is missing and Metashape is using the first coordinate value 649985 as the number of points and imports the first points from the file below this limit.
