proxy denied connection (status code 0) - cloud processing

Hello Everybody,

i have an issue with cloud processing.

Some days ago i used the cloud processing feature the first time and it worked well.
Now i would like to use it again, but always when i press the button to launch the process there comes this error : "proxy denied connection (status code 0)" 

After this error i press "OK" and my project is gone so there is just a blank metashape Untitled project. This means i have to reopen the project again to work on it,
But still i can see the error in the console:

Do you have any idea how i could fix this, i really would appreciate to work more in the cloud since it worked two days ago.

Hello Riko,

I could suggest to update at least to 1.6.6 version, but it would be better to use 1.7.1, as the same version is currently running on Agisoft Cloud.

You may also need to use Proxy settings in Network Preferences tab, if anything has changed in the Internet connection that you are using.

so i installed the Version 1.7.1.

Now the error is: "proxy denied connection (unknownNetworkError)"

I changed some Proxy settings, but it did not change anything.

And there was no change in the internet connection, i still use the same computer and the same internet connection.

Is there anything i can do to use cloud processing again?

Hello Riko,

You may need to configure the parameters in proxy setting dialog accessible from Metashape Preferences -> Network tab according to the Internet connection settings defined in Internet/Browser settings for the system.

i changed the proxy settings to: "enable proxy server" and there i entered the proxy adress. Port number was 80 by default.

after i changed the settings to: "enable proxy server" and "Use system proxy settings"

...the same error occured.

after i changed something again, and i typed in my e-mail adress and passwort again...

the same error occured...

Then i disabled the proxy settings like it was in the beginning.

and now finally it works!

now i have the same problem again but in a different manner.

I uploaded an project to process it in the cloud.
Because it is a rather big one it takes 5 more hours to process.

So i pressed "disconnect" in the hope, that it would continue processing in the cloud that i can shut dowm my computer and
open it again another day.

To look if it works i opened the file again but there is the same error again: Proxy denied connection.

All the time i try to open the project the same error occures. Even i copied the project to another folder and changed the name, but it does not open.

So my question is: is my project now gone or should i wait until it finishes the process in the cloud?

Well, in the cloud it finished the process, but due to the error i can not open it again.

it is really frustrating because the project was finished, i just wanted to do it in higher quality again.

Other projects i can open, but this one is gone. So i have to do all the work again.

What can cause this problem?

Can you try to use File Menu -> Cloud -> Download Project command and save the project to the new location?
