  • Import, export reconstruction region (.kml)
  • Draw reconstruction region by mouse

Seconding this. We would like to be able to import a reconstruction region from another project. I could imagine this being defined by markers, or in some other format.

We have 30+ models of a feature that has changed over time in projected coordinates (EPSG 32633) and we would like to create a series of identical orthomosaics using the 'planar' option so that we can tailor the perspective to highlight key parts of the feature. To do this, we need to be able to define the exact same reconstruction region for all of these models.

We have not found a good solution yet but did find that we were able to record the corners of the reconstruction region using markers (https://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=13866.0). Is it possible to use this set of 8 markers to define the corners of a reconstruction region in other files? Or is there a simpler way to export/import a reconstruction region across files?

Hello jtherm,

you could look at following github script that copies BB from active to all other chunks...https://github.com/agisoft-llc/metashape-scripts/blob/master/src/copy_bounding_box_dialog.py.
