Can't change cursor depth height
« on: June 22, 2021, 09:07:13 AM »
Hi,
I am in stereo image viewing mode but i cannot seem to change the depth of my cursor. I see the 2 photos selected for stereo viewing and i am following the instructions in the manual to change the cursor depth by holding right mouse button and shift but nothing happens. I had it working before but then it stopped working for some reason.

Thanks,
David

Hello David,

It should work in the following way: hold Shift, press and hold right-mouse button, then move the mouse cursor up and down to increase/decrease the stereo-cursor depth.

Thanks for the response!

Unfortunately, I have tried that but it does not work. I wonder if there is some sort of setting that I have selected that is preventing it from working?

Hello dbird6,

Which OS version and Metashape version you are using?

Did you solve this? I cant change cursor depth either in 2.1.0, windows 11.

update: tried it on a mac using 2.0 as well. Cant get it working there either.

update 2: the beavhiour seems extremely flaky. I get it working by holding ctrl + shift + left mousebutton, although as soon as try drawing something it stops working after two vertices.
