SonyAlpha a7 on a fixed wing
« on: July 01, 2021, 03:21:03 PM »
Hello all,
I'm flying a sonyalpha camera on my fixed wing platform.
It is looking at the ground, no sky in the pocture.
Unfortunately, all the pictures came with no focus at all!
When I tried putting all on auto setting, it worked.
One flight after, it became blury again and not in focus, even without changing the settings.
Any ideas?
How do I get my pictures nice, on daylight with Sony alpha a7r?
A 80 mm lens is installed, flight altitude is 1500 feet.

How do you trigger photos on the camera? Do you have a dedicated application or also by the aircraft driver? The application should have an additional focusing module.

Amit,

your camera focus should be set to infinity...

Maybe supply one of your blurry images to look at...

Please check the shutter speed and use a minimum of 4000 to avoid blurry images. would appriciate to hear from you
