Crash with cameras from two sources
« on: July 13, 2021, 11:28:57 AM »
Hi

I´m in process with a job with photos from a DSRL and a DJI drone.

Metashape align these images with no problem (sparse model OK), but It will crash when calculating dense cloud.

Is this a normal behaviour? I mixed several cameras in the past and no problem.......

Thanks in advance

Hello nachogi73,

Please specify Metashape version used and provide the part of the log related to the crash (you may need to enable "write log to file" option in the General preferences tab, then re-start Metashape and try to reproduce the issue).

Hi.

Following your instructions, I attach the log file created by repeating the operation.

Software version: 1.7.0 build 11736 (64 bit)

Thanks.

Hello nachogi73,

Please check, if the issue is still observed in the version 1.7.3.

I would also suggest to install the latest compatible NVIDIA drivers and disable "use CPU" option in the GPU Preferences tab of Metashape window.
