Poor resolution 3D model
« on: July 11, 2021, 02:09:54 AM »
Hi! I`m dying over this problem, don`t know what is going on.

I`m used to generating 3D models of areas in different flight configuration: a high altitude flight with camera set on nadir (-90) and some closer manual flights with varying camera angles, to capture finer details of important features. When processing the data from those flights, I first aligns the cameras in different chunks and then merge them together, to resume the workflow (densecloud, mesh, texture...). In the end, I have a product with different resolutions, greater in the areas where flight altitude was lower.

Thing is, I`m processing this new project, which has the same characteristics that I just mentioned (see attachments). However, this time when I try to build dense cloud or mesh from the merged chunk, it seems that the resolution is limitted by the higher altitude  flight (lower resolution). In attachments is also the wireframe of the 3D model where it is clear the low resolution, even though that area was flown in a very low altitude (~5m).

I apreciate any idea of what problem that migh be. Thanks!
