Metashape not using all usable core / thread

Dear all,

During the dense cloud generation process, Metashape is only using half available cores (6 cores for my 5900x processor).

Shouldn't the program be using all available thread?

Oddly, occasionally it work as I expected, but I hadn't changed any setting.

Anyone have possible guess on the cause?

Hello yentelie,

Some intermediate stages may occasionally use single core, although most of the main processing tasks support multithreading.

Do you recall, during which processing stage you have observed the reported behavior? If it is reproducible, would it be possible to share the part of processing log shown at the same time.
