Scale bar units
« on: September 21, 2013, 12:33:11 AM »
Scale bar section in ground control has distance in meters “Distance (m)”, but it looks like its cm, because when I put 0.01 to describe 1cm, my model becomes very small, and only works right if I put 1.0 So I think it should be (cm) there.

Hello Alexander,

Do you mean that model is small in the external editor or in PhotoScan? In the first case you should check the scale using tools available, and in the second you can just change zoom level using mouse-wheel.

I mean it should say (cm) not (m). When you set 1.000 that equates to 1 cm in external application.

Hello Alexander,

Maybe that application has cm as default units?
For example, OBJ file doesn't save any information about units. There are only digits, so they could be treated as km, m, mm and etc. I suppose that measure units can be changed in 3D editing software.
