Incompatible keypoints dimension on Agisoft Cloud

Hi all,

all yesterday I was trying to run the alignment of my project on Agisoft Cloud, and I keep receiving the following error by e-mail: "We are sorry to tell you that an ‘Incompatible keypoints dimension’ error occurred on ‘Processing project’ step. You have not been charged for this processing.".

I searched for a solution at the following link (https://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=13261.0), but I only found out that the error might be caused by the Agisoft Version. I updated it (now I'm running the version 1.7.3.12473) but I didn't solve the problem. I also checked that my project file was below 40 GB.

 I've always started the alignment from scratch (with the following parameters: highest accuracy, generic preselection not enabled), so no old keypoints are saved.

After the failed cloud processing, the alignment tend to fail also in local (not always).

My project contains more than 5000 images, but until one month ago the same images were aligned on the cloud.

I've also tried to launch the cloud processing from 2 PCs running two different operating systems (macOS and Windows).
Also my colleague has the very same problems (https://agisoft.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/158129).
So what could be the reason for this error?

I really need to process this project: this error is unexpected since I've already processed very similar projects (more than 5000 images, highest accuracy, generic preselection not enabled) on Agisoft cloud with the previous version of Agisoft (1.6.5).

Hello Roberta,

Can you please specify, if there are any masks applied to the images in your project?

The issue seems to be different from the one described in the thread that you are referring to (when the keypoints obtained from the older version are present).

The issue which causes ‘Incompatible keypoints dimension’  error should be fixed in 1.7.4 pre-release version:

Note that Metashape version in Agisoft Cloud is 1.7.3 until the next version is released officially, so the image matching should be performed locally in the pre-release version to avoid the reported problem.
