Photo Pane Show or Hide Points Question
« on: October 04, 2021, 09:09:44 PM »
Can anyone help me how to understand this..

In each photo, at the tope of the menu you turn on show or hide points.

What I am trying to understand this.   Why does the grey circles show up at the bottom and top ?

You can see the grey points as a not tie points for some reasons, my question is is it because of color difference ?  or is it something else ?

Thanks

P.S.  This is the same picture of the same area...

I assume they are points that were not matched.

Why were they there and was it because it could not overlap properly ?  I just need more details...

If you have a good link that you can share  so I can read it .

Hello PROBERT1968,

These points in Photo view visualize the locations of the tie point projections.

Blue circles are related to the valid tie points (such points are represented in 3D in the Model view mode), gray circles are related to the invalid (unused) tie points. Points could be invalidated during the camera alignment process (automatically), but also if you delete some tie points from the sparse point cloud they will be invalidated.
Best regards,
