Problem with gray markers
« on: June 28, 2013, 04:17:08 PM »
Hi,
I have a problem with markers.
When I put all the markers on the pictures there is still the identified markers that are not in the picture.
The icon of the marker is also different and I can not delete it..

What are gray markers?

Hello Guillaume,

Please check the following topic where the different marker colors are briefly described:
http://www.agisoft.ru/forum/index.php?topic=1335.0

Gray flags shows the estimated position for marker based on other projections, but actually this information is not used for processing.

However, it's strange that you have these gray flags on completely different area, probable some images were not aligned correctly?

All images are properly aligned.
I have another problem:
1. I place my first marker on a picture (green marker)
2. I PIN the markers on my other photos (blue marker > green marker)
The problem he has blue markers on pictures where my target is not present.
When I delete his blue markers some gray markers disappear but not all

Hello Guillaume,

From your screenshots I see that for "Point 2" there are only pinned projections and two gray flags.
On the Photos pane you can quickly review if there are any unpinned projections for the selected marker when Filter by markers option is used.

But if you are using Guided marker placement and some unpinned projections appear on wrong photos it is likely caused by alignment problems.

In the 3D view markers are always displayed as Blue flags.

sorry I do not have a pictorial representation of what I just explained to you.
The 3D model of the markers have always been blue.

But if the gray markers are not a problem for the optimization I do not have a problem.
I'll post pictures for markers that are detected in the wrong place.

Sincerely,
