masking problems please help

hi there,

if i align my photos without adding masks - all seems good, if i add mask (seperate files _mask.png)
i become strange alignment results . how can i solve that??  :o

Probably there are too little number of feature points found on the object after adding the masks.

use mask, and select PAIR PRESELECTION and set GENERIC.... it should work....

Sometimes it?s a good idea to use two chunks when processing an object that needs to be turned upside down by hand. I printed out some very small markers that I use for alignment reasons. Works very well for me, probably you give it a try :) If you need a textures model you can take extra-texture-photos without these markers and use them for texturing.
