reconstruction has wrong orientation after alignment
« on: November 26, 2021, 06:40:30 PM »
Hi,

I have one dataset from customer, where after alignment it is tilted ~20 degrees to one side. Would you point me in direction how can I fix that?

I've tried discarding orientation info from Reference, and also increasing accuracy (m) for geolocation data.

screen in attachment. Thank you,

JMR

there is one specific tool for rotating object. Find it in the toolbar 9th button.
If your reference data is wrong (tilted and possibly badly scaled too due bad quality GPS records likely) then you need to reset chunk transform in order to be able to rotate, but then you need to set scale by entering a scale bar as reference.

So I was looking more into this issue, and it seem that position information should be pretty good since it was RTK fixe

Drone is MAVIC2-ENTERPRISE-ADVANCED

XMP data:
Code: [Select]
Rtk Flag                        : 50
Rtk Std Lon                     : 0.04870
Rtk Std Lat                     : 0.06500
Rtk Std Hgt                     : 0.10221
