I'm wondering about the parameters tolerance and maximum residual in the automatic marker detection tool (Tools > Markers > Detect Markers). I have non coded cross markers with a size of 25 cm. The GSD is about 15mm. For investigation I tried several variations for the parameters tolerance (30, 50, 80) and maximum pixel (2, 5, 10, 50). But over all variations I was not able to detect more projections of a marker. But there have been still photos without detectet markers, although the quality of the GCP in the photos is still good. By varying the tolerance just the total number of detected markers changes.
Is there any discription how to use the parameters correctly and which influence they have on the results? In the manual I couldn't read something about it.
Especially how I can manage it, that the function detect more projections for a marker?
