Calibrate cameras only on markers
« on: December 20, 2021, 02:40:26 PM »
Hi,
I would like to calibrate cameras only using markers.
Can anyone confirm that my workaround for doing this is correct?

-Align photos using standard settings
-Automatically ID markers in all images
-Delete all points
-Optimise cameras

It seems to be working - I'm getting very sensible alignments after doing this.
Thanks.

I've been wondering how to do this too. How do you 'delete all points'? I can only find the method for deleting dense clouds.

Hi there,
sorry that was really not very clear. In the model view you have to select all points e.g. rectangle selection or select one point and invert the selection and then use the delete button on your keyboard. make sure you don't accidentally delete your markers. the idea is deleting every individual point of the sparse point cloud instead of deleting the point cloud.
