"Can't unpack file" error when trying to save as new project
« on: January 04, 2022, 08:13:50 PM »
Has anyone run into the "can't unpack file" error when trying to save a project under a new name?

I can't seem to find any reference to that particular error message.

I have been trying to create a dense cloud but end up with an error message, so I thought I'd try to save the whole project under a new name, but that's when I get the "can't unpack file" error.
Thank you for any insights.

Hello sbond,

Which version of Metashape you are using and whether there's any additional information in the Console pane, indicating to the certain file?

I'm having the same issue and it has happened on two different projects in less than a week. "Save" and also "Save As" says "Can't unpack file". I now can't close Metashape or restart my PC without losing all the time spent on processing the project. I'm on v2.1.0
