New rig for faster output
« on: January 07, 2022, 09:58:56 AM »
Hey everyone. I've been using Agisoft for quite a while with a solo camera/turntable rig  (single Lumix g100 and it's been great!). I am now looking to upgrade for faster scanning/output.

I'd like to get the community feedback on the plan I have in mind. Here it is:

- 1 or 2 of these https://www.esperhq.com/product/bundle/ ESPER bundles to connect up to 6 cameras
- 6 Canon EOS 2000D Rebel T7s
- Then I'm going to build some sort of rig for them.
- Should these cameras have any issue getting the job done?

Lastly, if anyone has a good guide to build a dome rig with 50-80 cameras I'D LOVE TO LEARN MORE because that is my goal.

Hi @jomax,
I have 18x 2000D in my rig and they do the job perfectly.
The 24 mega pixel sensor is great.
As with all entry camera the leak point is the standard lens 18-55mm, but hard to do without it when you start increasing cams quantity.

Good luck with your setup
