Blank white page when starting Metashape pro 64 bit

I helped a department install on new pc (was working on old pc) , software registered.  When starting Metashape pro, I get a blank white page that says Untitled - Agisoft Metashape Professional. Agisoft Viewer works.

Hello!

I am also experiencing this issue. It's the second time it happens in two months. First time I had to reinstall Metashape, and manually get rid of all the internal config files, etc.

Could you please, tell us how we can help to fix it? Logs, etc. It is quite painfull to reinstall Metashape, specially because of the license deactivation-activation part.

In my case I'm under macOS Monterey version 12.3.1

Can you please specify, which GPU (discrete NVIDIA Quadro or integrated Intel HD) is used as a primary OpenGL rendering device for Metashape? Does it help to set Quadro as primary OpenGL device for metashape.exe via NVIDIA Control Panel? Also please specify, if you are using an external monitor connected to the laptop?

Integrated GPU (not used by Metashape)
Intel HD Graphics 630
VRAM (dynamic, max.): 1536 MB

DIscret GPU (Used by Metashape)
Radeon Pro 560
VRAM (total): 4 GB

Using an external monitor and Macbook in clamshell mode. Plugged through Thunderbolt.
Monitor: ASUS VP247
Resolution: 1920x1080

Latest Metashape version installed.

I am also having this blank page problem after the latest updates.

Metashape has been running on this machine, which is accessed remotely:

AMD Radeon Pro W5700 external GPU 8GB
Intel UHD Graphics 630 built in GPU 1536 MB


Metashape Pro 1.8.4 Build 14671 (64 bit)

I tried rolling back to Metashape 1.7... and had the same blank page problem. Reinstalled latest version.

I am able to sort of open projects... the title bar of the Metashape window changes, but the window remains blank.

It seems to be a display issue, because if i right-clicked in the correct spot, I could get the drop-down menu to begin adding photos to a chunk, or to add a marker on a model for example. So the empty chunk of a new project is there, I just can't see it... or the model, or the frames of the different areas of the program.

Can you please try to open Preferences dialog, set up "write log to file" option, then re-start Metashape and provide the saved external log?

Also please specify, if you are using an external monitor connected to MacMini directly or to the external GPU?

UPDATE

Problem seems to be resolved after updating to Monterey 12.5.
Maybe it was the OS version, yet another reboot, and/or general cleanup that happens with a system update?

Probably, OS update also has GPU driver update included, which fixed some remote connection issues.

I'm facing this problem again after updating my MB Pro to macOS Ventura 13.6.1 and Metashape 2.0.3

The problem is that Metashape can't apparently load the GUI. Only the window "frame" appears, but the content is all gray. No GUI as said.

I am using an external display through HDMI. I tried with Agisoft Viewer and it DOES SHOW the GUI perfectly.

I have a dual GPU system. The integrated Intel Graphics shown in the log and a discrete GPU (AMD Radeon 560 Pro) which is not.

Any possible solution or hot fix?

Sorry for my late reply. I was doing field work.

Metashape behaves properly when using the laptop screen or even other screens connected through HDMI + dongle.
