Merging chunks and changing flying height
« on: July 24, 2013, 09:33:32 AM »
Dear all,

I have 5 aerial photos in a row and I finished my work without any problem. After that, I wanted to separate photos and make 2 chunks (3 in one and 2 in other one). When I finished merging, and click Show cameras, I can see that camera heights from one chunk is higher than others. Even if they have the same altitude and I wrote the same number in the Ground Control menu.

I was checking that maybe I clicked different number but everything is fine. Only when I see graphically, in Model, heights are different which makes me problem with the model. The merging line is visible and height deviation.

Anybody can guess where I made a mistake?

Hello disco_pihtija,

Have you processed the images in separate chunks?

The first problem is that you can not reference the chunk based only on two points, or three points that lay on the same line (there will be a rotational degree of freedom around this line).
