Exporting tiles from an ortho-mosaic along a path

Hi,

I would like to be able to export a set of tiles from an ortho-mosaic along a path through the centre of the mosaic. I know I can use a polygon to set an external boundary but was wondering if I can set a path or line through the middle of my mosaic and get a series of tiles of set size along that path??

 Is this possible??
