Good morning.

I have recently flown an area with a micasense dual camera. I have added all images and gone through all the reflectance calibration and then aligned successfully. However, there is no spares point cloud beneath the images, which there typically is. I then have tried to proceed and added the GCP file, de selected the images, then all that shows up at the locations of the GCP's and I am unable to identify where the GCPs appear in the images. Can anybody offer any advice. I have never seen this happen every before.

Thanks.
Ian

Can anybody suggest a reason why the sparse point cloud, which should appear after a successful align, is missing. Is there any option that is new in the latest version of Metashape Professional 1.8.3 that I need to be checking, which allows me to see the sparse point cloud. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Ian

Hello Ian,

If possible, please send the saved project to support@agisoft.com.

In case the project cannot be shared, please at least provide the screenshots of the Model view (point cloud view option) with the estimated camera locations and the screenshot of adjusted calibration values for the master sensor.
Best regards,

Hello Alexey.

I will try and send you a copy of the project, I presume you will require all the imagery as well? In the meantime here are some screen grabs of the project. It was flown at 490 ft, with a micasense dual band, so 10 bands. Let me know if youi can see where I am going wrong. I have been suing this micasense for over 2 years and have never had any issues producing a mosaic. All I can think is that I ma doing something incorrect.

Thanks.
Ian

rainman,

something occured to me... maybe try the Set brightness button to see if this helps....

and also try using the rectangular select button to select all points in cloud and they should appear with pinkish color... as in Following

Hi Paul.

I played with the brightness but that only effects the imagery I think  and not the spare point cloud, However, when I went to select the tie points/sparse point cloud, the tie points appeared...... so they are there, just not visible, why would that be?

Thanks.
Ian

Hello Ian,

The tie point colors appear to be overexposed (too bright), so they are not visible on a white background.

Hello Alexey.

Thank you for this information. I reduced the brightness and the tie points appear.

Thanks.
