GCP Altitude Units
« on: August 03, 2013, 03:58:29 AM »
Greetings,

Are the units to be entered for Altitude of GCPs always in Meters? I was using State Plane coordinate system and if I enter feet, the final model elevations are not correct.

Also, what specifically is the Error (m) field for GCPs. Is that the difference between the elevation the model build computes and the entered GCP elevation?

Thanks,

Dave

Dear Dave,

The altitude values are input in meters.

The Error values represent the difference between estimated coordinates for current point (marker or camera) and source values imported by user.
