GCPs black lines from markers

Hi!
Might be stupid, didn't find the answer. Once one marker is placed at the center of a ground target a black line is drawn from the dot marker on the picture (see screenshot). I don't figure out the meaning...

Hello,

the black line represents represents the residual that is the difference between marker estimated position and its measured position in image. In example I show marker with residual of 0.315 pix in image 5333. This black line is scaled by scale value defined in Tools / Preferences / Appearance Tab Photos Window...In my case it is 3 so residual line is scaled 3 times...

Your residuals seem huge so there must be blunder somewhere...

It's actually a 2014 dataset...
