What is the "point normals" option on Export Points ?

a 3d vector describing the orientation of the surface at that point. i.e. for a ground surface the normal will be pointing straight up.

On a plane or area I understand but I do not see how it can be applied to a point

Hello Guillaume,

For sparse point cloud point normal is an average vector for vectors connecting this point and camera it is visible from.
