Installation Issues Windows 11 machine

Hi we have just upgraded our processing PC to windows 11 and installed the latest version of Metashape 1.8.3 - it seems to have installed ok but when we open the program we get the attached error message :
that says " A referral was returned from the server"

Any help is appreciated

Hello Steve,

We haven't faced such issue on our side, but according to the Internet search results "A referral was returned from the server" - is a OS related problem, which can be fixed by disabling UAC (User Account Control). The error doesn't seem to be specific to Windows 11 and may be observed in older OS versions.
