3D Models - Buiildings
« on: January 06, 2017, 12:24:33 AM »
Hi There

I have been successful in creating and processing a 3D model of a small building in Agisoft using approx 200 photos (nadir/oblique/terrestrial). We now are looking for the best method to import this into a CAD based program so we can add and edit the data we have collected. Can anyone suggest a method or program to best use to export this data to CAD, we are able to export the 3D faces and points but we are hoping to export a 3D model (colored) like the one produced in Agisoft to CAD, not even sure if this is possible?

Any help/advice would be great, I have attaced a PDF of the model we have produced

Hello JCALC,

Not all mesh formats support vertex colors, if this option is disabled in the Export Model dialog, then the selected formats doesn't support that. For example, DXF doesn't support colors, but FBX - does.
