I hate to link to anything to do with the Daily Fail >:( but here you go:

A company in Texas apparently called Captured Dimensions...must be using Photoscan I would presume.

I think it might be a good business, but It really depend where you are located... I have a hard time to picture such thing here .. but who knows.. hehe.. big investment..

also I wonder why they always print with that old Zcorp tech.. so expensive, so dirty, so much pollution..  Mcor makes one with better color and using only regular paper..

btw, I am not related to Mcor in any way..  :P

Mcor is S L O W, as i remember their build speed is approx 5-10mm/h or even less = thats mean full volume will print out in several hours. Z-corp are nice ones because it can be used even for casting light metals. And the best option is to print out model and hand paint it.. we have doen it 2 years back with incredible quality........

hehe... oki... well I am just not a big fan of the Zcorp color.. and as you say, painting would be a way, but on such small figures, you need to be a great artists as well..  ;)

but I have seen your Work Wishgranter, and indeed it is very good..
