Large Area Ortho Help PLEASE!!!!

Hello all

This is my first post. I'm brand new to Metashape and have been trying to figure out how to process large areas in an efficient way to create orthos. I have to provide a customer 1/4 sections (160 acres) on a 4,000 acre project. When I try to produce something that size the number of hours to produce the mesh won't work. I'm currently experimenting with only 50 pictures and to create a mesh on high quality it's taking 2hrs. If I tried to do that with 1,000 pictures for a 1/4 section I'd be an old man by the time it was done. Anyone have suggestions on how to make this more efficient while maintaining quality (2in/pixel minimum)?

try to duplicate the chunk multiple times, and resize the region box to contain smaller area in each of them. the processing command will only be applied to the area contained in the region box.

Just in case, it should be due to the fact that your GPU isn't enabled. To check it out, in the preference pane and the GPU tab, you could enable it if it isn't.

Thanks for the advice. If I understand what you're getting at you suggest aligning all the cameras then duplicating it into multiple chunks; then create the mesh with the smaller chunks? If I do it that way how do I go about combining the chunks back into one so they sign up correctly without looking pieced together?

I checked that out, but there was a warning at the bottom and I'm not sure I chose the correct option. I'm including a screen shot of what mine looks like. Is it correct?
