creating new mesh from dense cloud without overwriting
« on: July 29, 2022, 03:54:02 PM »
Hi
I don't know what I'm doing wrong....I want to create a second mesh (or third)  with same settings from my dense cloud. Usually I get a new mesh, but now it's overwriting the first mesh. anybody?

Hello renevg,

Before building a new mesh, right-click on the active 3D model in the chunk's contents of the Workspace pane and choose "Set as default" option from the context menu. Mesh model will disappear from the Model view (but will remain in the chunk) and you would be able to generate a new mesh in the same chunk, without overwrite.

Right click on the mesh object and uncheck "set as default mesh"... same applies for dense clouds, orthomosaics, etc.
