working with imported Inpho-project
« on: October 10, 2022, 02:28:17 PM »
Hi,

I've imported a set of DMCIII images together with orientation from a Inpho project. I want to generate some dense point clouds with the existing orientation from that project. But I'm not able to do so without running a new image alignment.
I can only see the results of the imported EO from Inpho in the "estimated" values for the cameras.
How do I "lock" these orientation parameters so that I can proceed and generate a dense cloud, they're all estimated from scratch if I align the block in metashape, is there something I'm missing?

Jon Peter VM,

when you import the eo values from the Inpho project, normally the source values in reference pane will have the values from the project. To set these to the estimated values, you can use following script https://github.com/agisoft-llc/metashape-scripts/blob/master/src/quick_layout.py. After running it, you can use Build Point Cloud... from Tools>Tie Points menu. From there you can continue with Build Dense Cloud, ....

This should work...
