Thank you Alexey for the details.
As a matter of fact, in further tests, this last version works better than version 1.8.4, particularly in bigger projects. Processing times in version 2 are now slightly better that they were in version 1.8.4 consistently.

I've noticed something strange in v2.0 beta (I've updated to the latest Dec 25th release and the problem remains).

In both 1.8.5 and 2.0 I have enabled the option:
Preferences > Advanced > Load camera orientation angles from XMP metadata

In 1.8.5 this loads Yaw, Pitch, Roll from the XMP metadata.

In 2.0 this only loads Yaw.  Pitch and Roll are always 0 (zero).

It's strange that it does load Pitch, but not the other two.

This last beta does not assume the previous version 2.0 license. If we reenter the serial number it gives an error.
Is there a workaround?

After opening this latest beta, the message in attachment appears. After entering the serial number or activate via terminal, the result is the same, even if "Activation successful" message appears in the terminal. After, the second message in attachment appears (asking to contact your support).

PS: Reinstalled previous last beta (15522) and it's working fine, without asking for the license.

Hello Renato,

There were some issues with the security protocols in the latest pre-release (for macOS) that will be fixed in the next update. It should be possible to workaround the issue by manual OpenSSL installation, but it may be better just to wait a couple of days till the update.

Hello, I have imported some laser scans using the new option but as some of them don't contain colour and only intensity Metashape doesn't show any image from these (in grayscale) so I can't add any markers to improve the alignment of the photos from the camera.  Is there any solution to this?

Thank you for reporting. The issue will be fixed in 2.0.1 update and it would be possible to use uncolored laser scans for intensity-based alignment.

Currently Agisoft Cloud has not been yet updated to 2.0 version, so it allows to start the processing tasks using Metashape Pro 1.8 only. But we are planning to update it to 2.0 version in the nearest future.
