Import ortho error message
« on: November 01, 2022, 01:58:01 AM »
When I try to import a large GeoTIFF, after I choose the coordinate system, I get this message.
Image was 32586 x 35190 pixels, and saved with the YCbCr color model.

"Error: Empty Frame Path"
I tried in versions 1.6.5 and 1.8.4

Hello rossnixon,

You should save project in PSX format before importing orthomosaic, DEM or tiled model to Metashape project.

Hi Alexey,

I had no current project.
I just wanted to split the ortho into two pieces using a shape file, retaining the coordinates for each piece.

In the end I used IrfanView 64-bit and manually recalculated the new coordinates.

Hello rossnixon,

You need to open a new empty project, save it as .PSX file format (default Metashape Project format), them import the external orthomosaic and export it in tiles, if necessary.
