Dense Point Cloud taking too long

Hello everyone!

I have a question about dense point cloud creation.

In the creation process, I imported 1549 photos taken with DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 with a 20 MPx camera.

My PC Specs are:
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
128 GB RAN
1TB NvMe SSD
Gigabyte RTX 3060 Vision OC

The point cloud has been generating for 6.5 days and the estimated time is constantly increasing (now more than 7 days).

Do you know what might be the issue?

Hello hlukacic,

Which version of Metashape you are using? Also please specify the alignment parameters utilized and settings selected for the dense cloud generation.

Additionally please confirm that the project.files directory is located on a local SSD drive.

You gave me an answer in your question. I did the analysis on the HDD. Now I transferred everything on SSD and the process was done in less than 3 hours on High settings.
