Aerial Lidar data merge Terrestrial laser scan data
« on: November 28, 2022, 11:02:10 AM »
Hello Agisoft Team

I want to merge Aerial Lidar data(.las) with Terrestrial Laser scan data(ex. pts, ptx, e57...etc)

Las data has coordinate. but TLS data does not have coordinate(no georeference)

So how can i do this?

Hi TJ Jeong,

you might have a look here for Metashape 2.0 beta:

Hello Kiesel

I try this. but TLS doesnt have location. so when i input las and e57, their location isnt match.

so i cannot merge these files

Can you explain specific process procedure?

Hi TJ Jeong,

I havn't done this myself (because we don't have aerial Lidar), but I think that both should be in the same coordinate system. Doesn't you have GCPs in the same system for both?

Best regards

Hello TJ Jeong,

In Metashape 2.0 you can place markers on the point clouds directly (without images) and use them for laser scans alignment.
