Hi I hope someone will be able to help me here l have been struggling for a week with my project.
I flew almost 500 hectares with a phantom 4 pro. I did many flights at 135m probably 18 flights just over 3000 images. So l ussually move along the centre of the project so that l get more time from the batteries. So l have about 5 takeoff positions. The problem is there is a certain portion of the project where reconstruction is not coming out well the point cloud in that area has 2 or 3 layers or steps at the same position will attach screen shots. Its my first time to experience such in 5 yrs. I have processed the project 4 times now still geting the same results. I tried every solution l could find with no joy. At first l thought its to do with repeated image labels l changed the labels with a script, then l noticed the cameras had a different height since l had multiple take off point l assigned the same height to all cameras this did not work still. I have alot of gcps in the project but even after optimizing with gcps the problem still persists. I am not sure whats causing this l have processed many projects thus far but l havent encountered such a problem. It was my first time using this drone as well. This area has a lot af electric lines running in the area sometimes my flight would just fail to resume so l a have a few repeated lines. I am using Metashape 1.7.6. Find attached screenshots of the cross section of the are. It seems as if there are 3 layers of point clouds one on top of the other.
