Maintaining scale when exporting planar orthomosaic?
« on: February 13, 2023, 08:27:05 PM »
I created a model of a vertical subject with which I am creating a planar mosaic using "current view". This results in a orthomosaic of the subject flattened on a arbitrary plane. The resulting orthomosaic seems to be scaled correctly in Metashape; however, when I export the orthomosaic to view in GIS, it is not scaled properly - it is close, but definitely not accurate.

Is there something I am doing wrong in this process?

Hi j.niles,

perhaps your current view is not 100% orthogonal to the coordinate system?

Best regards,

Hello j.niles,

What GIS you are using to open the orthomosaic and how the scale is checked there?
