Import Shape File Nothing Happens

Hello! I am trying to import a shape file polygon to double check mission bounds for a project Im working on. However, when I import the shp file, nothing happens.  The layer is created but I the polygon is not visible.  Ive made sure that the shape file is in the same CRS and it is. Any ideas?

Disregard! I have no idea what we did different but we got it to import. Its Friday afternoon... not thinking ahead to the weekend or anything  ;D
